“Three May Keep a Secret” by Carlie St. George

Two high school students confront supernatural horrors in “Three May Keep a Secret” by Carlie St. George. The girl is haunted by the ghost of a friend who drowned years ago. The boy is attacked by a monster created in a story told by the dead girl. Together they confront their fears and learn the truth behind these terrors. The author is skilled at depicting the lives of teenagers in a realistic way. This tale is a compelling one, although aspects of it seem familiar from other horror fiction. The editors provide a content warning about disturbing themes. The warning reveals certain plot details, and should not be read by those who wish to avoid spoilers.
