Giraffe Cyborg Cleans House!” by Matthew Sanborn Smith

Reviewed by Dave Truesdale

Short, humorous SF where cyborg pets, plants, and trees are all the rage. This one centers on a single household and the problems the new cyborg giraffe encounters, specifically with a carnivorous acacia tree and the next door cyborg pet lion that disregards a vital element of its programming. The humor arises from the various situations the author creates. Mildly amusing, but humor is subjective and your mileage may vary.
