A soothsayer, blessed with fragmentary views of the future, likes her client in this flash fantasy story. After giving him the usual vague prediction, which doesn’t satisfy him, she sees a six second flash of his future that changes her own perspective on life.
This engaging flash fiction has all the elements to make it a pleasure to read. There’s some mystery, a simple hook to keep you engaged, and a nice twist to the end to give the reader food for thought.
