Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores has one new story in the fantasy section this month.

“Trans-Dimensional Monsters and Suburban Gods” by Steve Oden

In this short fantasy, a family of displaced gods take on demonic and cosmic battles for the defenseless. Little Bellona can telepathically pick up cries for help from hundreds of light-years away as sentient lifeforms fight against demonic hordes. Even their household appliances seem to be possessed, requiring the exorcising of malignant demons.

The author’s curious story snippet came with a witty touch and left the reader wondering how much was in the young protagonist’s imagination.
