This month, Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores has one new science fiction story, released on Valentine’s Day.

“Tomorrow is a Difficult Proposition” by Kris Bowser

It is one of the ethereal beings of the Milky Way in this SF short. It chooses its physical form as it travels in both time and space. But the whole galaxy and all of time make for a vast four-dimensional area. And it easily gets lost.

Never before has getting lost been a problem until it meets a ship’s captain who captures its heart. Then it loses the captain when it promises to come back to her later but doesn’t know when later is. Now it must search through the galaxy’s time to find her again.

The author created a surprisingly heart-warming story of an alien entity that fell in love with a human.
