“Inter-Exo” by Julie Steinbacher

Sia sneaks a group of her teenaged fellows into a secluded lab, where they have sex. “Inter-Exo” by Julie Steinbacher is erotica, so it is difficult to know how to review it for Tangent Online, since the focus of this review site is speculative fiction. This story is speculative fiction only in the sense that Sia is bred in a laboratory and has to get out of a spacesuit before she can have sex with her fellow teens. While sex that is in some way alien can yield insights into human sexuality, there is nothing different here–just plain vanilla, humanoid, heterosexual mechanics.
