the genre's premiere review magazine for short SF & Fantasy since 1993
Chronicle
Chronicle was founded in New York in 1978 (as Science Fiction Chronicle) by Andrew I. Porter as a sister magazine to the Hugo Award-winning Algol (later Starship), The Magazine About Science Fiction, published from 1963-84. At first a department of Algol, it grew in popularity and became a regular publication in June, 1979. Since then it has published nearly two hundred issues, covering every aspect of the genre, from mainstream publishing to gaming to fan activities. It was purchased by DNA Publications in May 2000.
